Best Party Hotels in Acapulco

Acapulco’s Golden Zone is lined with drinking, dining, and entertainment spots. These four hotels are in the heart of it all. Check out our picks for the best party hotels in Acapulco, Mexico.

  1. Emporio Acapulco Hotel is a three-and-a-half pearl hotel is in the middle of the city’s nightlife and entertainment scene, and has direct access to Acapulco Bay and popular Playa Condesa. Its 422 rooms are cheerful and well-maintained overall, but the bathrooms and furniture could use an update. The three pools are gorgeous; two are reserved for adults and the third has a fun pirate ship. The restaurants are nice enough if a bit bland in terms of both food and decor.

  2. Backing onto the sands of Acapulco Bay, the Crowne Plaza Acapulco is surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars, and beach-related activities. Guest rooms are appealing and the facilities are modern, but the crowds and generic decor are on par with mid-range expectations. Highlights include a swim-up bar in the sprawling pool complex, a modern fitness center, and live music. The atmosphere is perfect for those interested in high-energy activities and parties, but guests seeking romance and privacy aren’t going to find it here.

  3. If you’ve come to Acapulco looking for a party, you’ve found it. With a prime location on Playa Condesa, Fiesta Americana Villas Acapulco is within a five-minute walk of the many dining and entertainment options found along Avenida Costera Miguel Aleman. The upper-middle-range hotel's 324 guest rooms are simple, with private balconies with ocean views and bathrooms with shower/tub combos. Pools are large and include some intriguing decorative features, but the beach is crowded and the on-site restaurants are dull.

  4. Acapulco Malibu is a three-pearl hotel located along bustling Avenida Costera Miguel Aleman, the city’s main tourist artery. The center of Acapulco’s nightlife and entertainment scene, the street is lined with a huge selection of shops, restaurants, and bars. While the hotel’s 80 rooms have an interesting circular layout, decor is dated and lackluster. The two pools are pleasant if unremarkable. Tabasco Beach, the on-site restaurant, faces scenic Santa Lucia Bay, and serves international and Mexican fare.
